Our Net Zero targets validated by SBTi

We’re proud to share an important milestone in FSP’s sustainability journey as our greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets have been officially validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).

The validation provides independent assessment of the targets we have set and gives us a clear framework for measuring our progress towards Net Zero. SBTi describes validated targets as science-based pathways for organisations to decarbonise their operations and value chains, reviewed and validated against its standards and assessment criteria.

From Commitment to Action

Reaching this point has involved a detailed assessment of our greenhouse gas footprint and Net Zero Strategy, including establishing our base year and setting near-term, long-term and Net Zero targets.

But validation is not the end goal.

Our focus now is on turning those commitments into measurable progress. Our Net Zero Strategy identifies 72 actions to reduce our environmental impact, spanning everyday operational improvements as well as longer-term changes in areas such as business travel, energy efficiency, procurement and supplier engagement.

We have also established an ESG & Sustainability Champions Group, helping colleagues across FSP identify opportunities for improvement and support environmental initiatives within our offices and teams.

Building a Sustainable FSP

SBTi validation forms part of our wider approach to responsible and sustainable growth.

As FSP continues to grow, we want to do so in a way that considers our environmental impact, strengthens our business and responds to the expectations of our customers and wider stakeholders. Our customers are increasingly asking us to demonstrate the action we are taking on sustainability, making credible, independently assessed commitments increasingly important.

There is plenty still to do. We will continue to improve our data, measure our progress and report transparently on where we are making progress and where further action is needed.

Our Sustainability & Social Impact Report 2026 sets out our validated targets alongside the wider work we are doing across environmental sustainability, social impact and responsible business. You can also explore FSP’s wider ESG approach and view the SBTi Target Dashboard.
